Affiliated Shows

The BCPS is delighted to be able to award its Special Rosette at affiliated shows to the highest-placed BCPS member in classes confined to registered pure-bred Connemara ponies. The Special Rosette can only be won at affiliated shows, and it’s a wonderful way to recognise Connemara excellence across the nation.

 

Affiliating your show with the BCPS

Your show can be affiliated with the BCPS and receive a Special Rosette for a fee of £17. Additional Special Rosettes for further classes are available at cost of £2.50 each.

If you would like to affiliate your show with the BCPS to receive one or more Special Rosettes, please first of all check the conditions of affiliation in our Affiliation Letter. If your show has one or more eligible classes, then you can apply for affiliation by filling out the Affiliation Application Form and returning it to the address given on the form. Both documents can be downloaded from this page.

Please ensure that any applications must be received at least 30 days in advance of your show in order for the request to be processed.

Competing at Affiliated shows

If you would like to aim for the Special Rosette at an affiliated show, you will need to be a Member of the BCPS and exhibiting a pure-bred Connemara who is registered in the BCPS Stud Book or the Stud Book of another approved Society.
