Eastlands Stud success at HOYS

Many congratulations go to John and Dianna Staveley of Eastlands Stud whose home bred stallion, Eastlands Harleybrae won the HOYS Leading Connemara Sire of the Year Award.

The Award which goes to the stallion whose progeny have gained most points in HOYS qualifiers, was presented yesterday evening. Two full brothers, Eastlands Dunknowe and Eastlands Dunedin, by Harleybrae out of of Eastlands Dunrose, were placed 6th and 8th in the NPS Baileys Ridden Connemara Pony of the Year class yesterday afternoon.

More success came this afternoon when Eastlands Dunedin, ridden by Lucinda Leeming, won the Junior M&M Ridden Large Breed Pony of the year with Eastlands Dunknowe , ridden by Tamara Heathcote, in 6th place .

Later in the evening, Dunedin was foot perfect winning the Junior Ridden M&M Championship! What a show it has been for Eastlands Stud and so well deserved.
