Rafifa Hamoudova

We are delighted to support Rafifa who is setting up a Connemara Pony Society in her home country, the Czech Republic. She is already heavily involved with Mountain and Moorland ponies and was the founding member of the Czech National Pony Society of which she is currently President. Rafifa has organised shows, seminars and clinics and can bring this wealth of experience to establish a “new” Connemara Pony Society. There are around 50 pure bred Connemara ponies in the Czech Republic and around 70 part breds.  The grant will enable Rafifa to come to the UK to gain an insight into how the BCPS is run and she will attend the Breed Show and filly/colt inspections. When my mother Pat first got involved with Connemara ponies the English Connemara Pony Society (as it was then called) was in its infancy so it is fitting that we can support Rafifa in her endeavours. We wish her the best of luck.
